Hey... is anyone willing to hook me up with their addons folder? If you could just download the addons folder from your working game server? I been doing some testing and I want to try using someone elses addons folder to see if that makes any difference.

I'm currently running SM 1.2... and i've tried looking for 1.1 (which is what i used to have before my server decided to crap out every other scrim)... But i can't find 1.1 anywhere... so if there's anyone here who runs a server.. and has a steady server (never have any problems with server crashing randomly)... if you could be so kind as to download ur addons folder and just zip it up then upload it somewhere for me to download (its about 11mb).. I'd really appreciate it :).

have you customized your server.cfg at all? I used to have crash issues with my midnight box until i used the vanilla config they gave me at install and just added my search key

The only customization i've done to the server.cfg is disable the motd at connect... and add my sv_search_key (its a public server now, but I've had issues with the server crashing even when i had a private server).

Other than that.. thats pretty much it.. i haven't touched anything else.

I noticed that when i didn't have the sourcemod installed... my server was still having that lagout issue (where it lags out for like 60 seconds, then reconnects u, and the scores are all still there)... but now.. like every other scrim.. the server flat out CRASHES.. like.. full reboot mode crash.

So i wanna try using someone's addons folder that has actually had their server functioning with no problems.

I know a fella who's really good with server stuff. He goes by the name "Bust|N|Caps" if you've ever seen him.

I would get with him with any of those questions because he's very skilled in server/operating procedure stuff. :)

Yes, bustin is a good guy. He let us borrow his server for a match when ours was down :D ..i'm pretty sure you have visceral on your friends, so look for Bust|N|Caps ...i'm sure he will be more then happy to give you his. ;)

For Bort... i wanted to report back that after reverting back to the SM 1.1 (i used FooL's sourcemod folder)... My server has "timed out" (which does happen from time to time any server) a total of 2 times while using it in the past week. It hasn't crashed at all... So my guess is that SM 1.2 is buggy with the L4D servers.
