I'm not sure that a map that is still in alpha belongs in an event like this, especially when there are a number of other maps like Gullywash and Turbine that are in finalized states. ETF2L is using both of these maps this season, and Turbine has been used in Europe for quite some time now.
That being said, cp_obscure is a very solid map even in its current state, and I'd say at the very least it's on par with Follower and definitely a better map than Well. In particular, I don't think that the community is very fond of Well, so if you're looking for something to replace it, cp_obscure is definitely a viable candidate.

I played obscure and don't think that it's in a competitive state yet for this kind of competition, especially considering that it has gotten very little time in NA to be gotten a feel for.

That's what I am thinking at this point. I would do turbine but it was thoroughly rejected after using it this past season. Some members of the community wanted it and then after that week of play, everyone said it was the worst choice ever.
The first few rounds don't matter much for the top teams so it's not really a big deal but I just wanted to know what you guys think.
