Considering Alienware's intentions to host multiple TF2 events in the future, I thought it would be good to see where the competitive TF2 folks are located. I will take the results to Alienware so that they can possibly tailor their TF2 LAN location selection process to the people themselves.

Toronto, NYC, Chicago, all sound good to me. I would more than likely make a trip anywhere though as long as it isn't westcoast.

I'm in CA. NYC would be kind of a pain but I think I'd make the trip anyway. I think Dallas/Chicago are more fair, but I'd do my best to attend regardless of where it is.

Yea I support Texas or Illinois location but I am really down for anything that is not on the west coast. I hope the TF2 community can come out strong for this event and bring some attention to the game. The thread on the Alienware forums has exploded so that's a good sign...keep it up.

How much would you guys pay to do everything it takes to get to, play in, and leave from a LAN? I am talking about travel costs, hotel fees, etc.

From the poll it looks like most of us are in the North East. Could you guys ask your teammates and see if that trend stays true amongst them?

NYC would be awesome, as I can just take the bus :D
