I believe I've put this off for far too long. I really enjoy playing tf2 on a competitive level and would do practically anything to improve.
a little about myself, I play scout, I have for quite some time now, I would estimate myself as low/mid or low+, whichever is higher, I dunno with all the new levels (ridiculous anyway) I love competitive tf2 and play at any chance I get, I've been on several teams that really haven't done much, I've also run 2 of my own teams at a point. I believe my knowledge of comp tf2 is quite extensive however, my dm and strats as an individual scout could definitely use work.
my play style... I'm a pretty aggressive scout, I like to take opportunities, however my aim is quite inconsistent, I've use a range of sensitivities throughout my tf2 career, anywhere between 1.0 @ 1800 dpi to a 2.8 @ 400 dpi (which I currently use)....
I know when my team should be pushing, I know where everyone should be, for the most part I know where I should be on any given map (I do have a few weak maps though) and on mid fights, I kinda fail (probably my biggest downfall, maybe I'm way to aggressive, I don't know, that's why I'm here.)
I know my opportunities to flank, I believe I am very effective at taking in what my team is calling and acting on those, however my aim once again is a factor..for medic picks, I find myself coming out empty handed or dead quite often..
I know how to keep my teammates alive, in retreat situations, or taking a rocket for a medic whatever it may be, but I think I've rambled quite enough.
I'm looking for a laid back mentor, who's got a decent amount of time to devote to helping me out here, as well as someone who is willing to take random questions from me on steam every so often and review my demos when I feel is necessary, on a bad day or a good, anyways, if you feel you're up to the task of pinpointing my flaws and helping me work them out, please add me on steam and shoot me a pm.
I'm very easy to get along with (or at least I think so) I'm very laid back, but very dedicated when it comes to tf2, I take criticism very well, as long as its not "you suck" "you're bad" or any variation thereof.
Also, if you consider me as a mentee, please read the entirety of the above, its partial ramble, but I believe there is some important information there.
-thanks for your time
