For some reaseon I can't log in to the wiki...it says I'm loogged on on here and Joomla but the wiki doesn't recognze me or my log in info. I wanted to do a bit of work on it but seems I can't log in...any ideas as to why?

I see your account in the wiki user manager, although it's "hitman smurf" instead of "Hitman Smurf". I believe dokuwiki requires usernames to be lowercase.

Can you try to login with that username and your forums/Joomla password ? If that fails, I'll delete your wiki account and we can recreate.

It keeps changing my name to this --> hitman_smurf

Maybe spaces don't work on the wiki?

There is something goofy with your wiki account, I can't edit it. Try logging into Joomla again, and then give the wiki another shot.

nope, still not working.

nope, still not working.

I just found out it's a documented issue with our bridge software, caused by usernames with spaces, and they have a fix in the latest SVN build. I'll try to get that installed tonight and let you know.

Sorry for the trouble.

np, I had already assumed it was something with the software and spaces.

So, still can't get in...was going to do some extensive work on the wiki this weekend but it's still a no go. Any update on this?

Sorry, had some family stuff come up this weekend and got sidetracked. I'll be home in about 30 minutes and I'll patch it and post back.

Understandable, the wife and kids "distract" me quite a bit as well LOL Thanks for getting back, not trying to harp, just trying to get some stuff done

Not a problem, I'm glad we've got enthusiastic users.

I believe I've fixed it. I was just able to create a username with spaces, and login to Dokuwiki using it. Since Dokuwiki doesn't support spaces in usernames, this patch replaces them with underscores ("user name" becomes "user_name" in Dokuwiki only, in Joomla / vBulletin "user name" still works).

To fix your account, login to Joomla again so it'll re-push your user to Dokuwiki. Then try logging in to the wiki with Hitman_Smurf and your normal password.

Let me know if it works.

Awesome. Thanks for catching that issue, none of our mods have spaces in their usernames so it could've gone on for a while.

Looks like your account didn't get placed in the right group. Can you login to Joomla again for me?

Looks like there's a usergroup bug in the patch I just installed, so I'll need to fix that.

I just manually added you to the right group, so go to town.

Obviously, with the name being slightly different, it's not registering my exp. for editing the wiki on my profile...guess I'm doing it for love of the game LOL but just thought I'd bring that issue to your attention as well.

Spoke too soon big guy.

Not sure why it took so long the first time, but it's chugging now.

I'm having some problems logging onto the wiki as well. I'm guessing it's because my forum name has a # in it?

Most likely. Try logging into Joomla again (http://commforums.com/joomla/) and once you do that I'll check the wiki backend to see what's up.
