Want a new case. Want a full tower 400lbs huge block of steel. I'm never going to move it, ship it, etc.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129043

Never going to water cool, I've bought < $100 cases in the past, and they for the most part have been great, however I want a case that im going to like for more than 1 year. The case I have now is fine, except the large 200mm fans need replacing and they are $25/fan from Xcilio - and to replace the front panel fan means disconnecting the wiring from the power switch and current fan/front audio cable runs - which wouldn't be a big deal except they are exactly the length needed and I will have to destroy cable management and otherwise waste time that I could be drinking beer. Also the fans have gone up in less then 8 months and I'm already looking at half the price of the case to replace them. Any other recommendations/pics other than the above case?

Antec skeleton ~ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129067&cm_re=antec_skeleton_case-_-11-129-067-_-Product

Coolermaster HAF ~ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119213&cm_re=coolermaster_haf_932-_-11-119-213-_-Product (comes in full & half sizes)

NZXT (Any tower will do from NZXT but) http://www.nzxt.com/new/product_detail.php?series_name=Crafted+Series&series=2&id=40

&

http://www.nzxt.com/new/product_detail.php?series_name=Classic+Series&series=1&id=1 (older version then the one above, i have had this case for 6 years. Love it to death) Side USBs, top HUD.

The antec is a great tower, you don't need to buy the fans for 25$ just head over to best buy. I guarantee you can get the same fans with a BRIGHT ass blue LED on them for 12-15$ a pop. I replaced my coolermasters liquid cooling fan with a bright LED one for 12$

Granted all the speed settings on them are manual only and you cant adjust them with onboard settings. That and they all eat up a male-end or female-end power slot BUT worth the price in quantity.

I love my corsair obsidian 800D. best case i've ever owned tbh, and really, after having it for a few months, i can only think of a few downsides to it.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139001&Tpk=800D

price tag is very high for a case, but, wanted it as soon as i saw it. had a lian-li G70b but it was starting to fall apart.

800D is mainly a watercooling case tbh, but i got it mainly for the cable management part of it, and the WC option if i ever decided to go down that road later.

also, as for fans, i'm of the belief, if you buy any 120mm fans, and they aren't either...
a) scythe gentle typhoon (the best)
b) scythe s-flex (close to the best)
c) yate loon (originals, and there's like 2 places to buy these, not fakes, these are cheap)

...you are wasting your $. Those three fans, have about the best CFM/noise ratio you'll ever find, and, i'm speaking realistically here, i'm not talking about some made up dBa numbers, the fans are actually quiet AND move good amounts of air. as for LED fans, well...i hate them.

antec 1200 is a good case from what i've heard though, but, like i said, i hate LED fans.

edit: corsair 700D (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139002)

seems the same as the 800D, with exception of the hot-swappable HD bays, same case dimensions and everything.
basically amounts to what you want to spend.

http://www.petrastechshop.com/120x25mmfans.html has about the only fans you should care to look at (aetch would most likely agree, and the one's he suggested are the one's to look at first). Most other fans you'll probably look at will be overpriced shit that have a poor CFM/dBA ratio or just outright lie about their ratio. Need extensions while you're at it?

(there's longer available, but I doubt you'd need that long)

And yes Antec 1200, but you already know about that one. I love my antec 1200, I got a extra fan on the side and its amazingly cool inside. Except for when its 900000000000000 degrees in my room.

I will never buy a Xcilio product ever again. Yes the case i have is massive, but the retards put a huge 200 mm fan in front pulling in, and then directly behind the fan is a fucking steel wall ( Hard drive cage ). It holds up to 8 hard drives so you can imagine the height. No air passes through.

lol, i didn't even look at the links, didn't know they were xclio.

I like clean case designs myself.

My next case will most likely either be the 800D or TJ07.
