Hi sorry if this has bene posted already, if so just delete it
I was wondering, do you have different crosshairs? do you use different ones for each class? if so which ones and what color and size?
for instance I have a green dot as small as it can go for all classes except scout where I have a green cross that is about in the middle of the slider.
I'm thinking about changing my soldier one and demo one and stuff because the dot doens't fit will with them.
how about you guys?

I use the generic cross w/ dot for most classes, and some custom ones for medic (T-shape for needler, cross with no dot for medigun, no xhair for bonesaw) and soldier (dot for rl, cross (X-shape) for shottie, no hair for shovel)

The + crosshair with much green as possible.
With viewmodels set to 90 of course.

Whichever one the small circle is, in green for all classes, with viewmodels off.

The dot or the circle? P.s, I use the dot alongside my crosshairscale +/- keys and my mouse3 is bound to rotate through the colours.

I use viewmodels for all the melee weapons for timing, and no viewmodels for the rest of the weapons. To keep track of what weapon i'm using i have a green circle for my primary weapon, a green crosshair for my secondary weapon and a green "x" for my melee weapon. Green is really the best xhair color for tf2 since white and black will blend in with the enviroments and it's probably pretty bad if you can't see your xhair when it's over an enemy, so this rules out red and blue.

Do you get boned by sv_pure?
What do you mean?

I think he means that the only way to get default crosshairs that are coloured is to use ones obtained from a custom mat file which will get detected by sv_pure.

I use a + symbol, fairly big, that's white. I've tried using green, it just kills my eyes

There are color options built into the game's options..?

So the default crosshairs can be edited? Last time I remember you can't edit any settings for the xhair if you have default ones. Haven't checked that menu throughly for a long time but it may have been patched in.

Small white X. Anything larger or with colors kicks my ADD into motion.

I use the open circle one (I think it's crosshair 3) white on primary, red on secondary and black for melee. Really nice as a sniper or scout.

I use viewmodels so I only have one crosshair that I use for everything:
cl_crosshair_file crosshair7
cl_crosshair_scale 20
cl_crosshair_green 255
cl_crosshair_blue 0
cl_crosshair_red 0
cl_crosshairalpha 200

I use a green cross without the middle for all the classes. Used to have it white but green is easier to see.
It suits me because the shape lets me aim better those weapons that are not very precise like the Minigun or the Shotgun. It still works well for revolvers and pistols so it's a keeper for me.

Cross hair 3, pretty small, in white
That green stuff just wouldn't go over well for me, cant have that cross hair vanishing whenever it crosses over on of them red players

Don't you know about "aron's crosshair switcher"? it makes you change the crosshairs for every class you want, it is very simple and easy to use.
you can chek it out here:
