I'm using a standard crouch jump script, but I notice that some of my friends who are competitive players use a different kind of script. Either that, or they're using the same script I am and my eyes are just playing tricks on me.

So, any crouch jump script I should be using or am I good with the tried and true standard?

For soldier when I play it, the space barn is rebound to
"+jump;+crouch" and "-crouch;-jump" via an alias, everything else I have as a default keys..

It's a preference thing, whatever works better for you.

I don't like crouch scripts, it takes only a little practice to get crouch-jumping to max height perfected, and it is hardly ever used in real play.

yeah, i don't have any jumping binds.

instead, i bind a second crouching button, Z, so it feels more natural when i swing the mouse left and rocket jump.

So you use a basic crouch jump script for the soldier in other words?

Basically yeah.. mainly so I can get fairly accurate rocket jumps in a firefight.

I've never used a crouch jump script, the only TF2 script I used was a pistol script when they were still useful.
