Just got out of a game that at first just seemed like I was getting rolled the normal way. Infected they werent all that great but as survivors, when speccing them, their cursors were supersteady, rotated perfectly, no shakiness whatsoever, no wasted movements, nothing. The only time Ive ever seen movement like that is when watching a bot. I dont have a problem getting rolled, especially since Im still so relatively new at l4d, but it was kind of ridiculous.
So what should I look for to know Im being cheated against?

What were the names of the other players?

Voomer and Muzzy. Dont remember the other two but once I noticed it I made it a point to watch these two.

Most bots coded like what you are refering to move in straight linear motions only. There will be no arc in their movement whatsoever. However that dont necessarily mean they are cheats either. There is a ton of factors to look for and without seeing a demo i cant really tell you either way.

Record a demo, spectate the suspected cheaters between spawn timers, and check it later.

You ask them if they cheat and they'll tell you yes or no. :)

Only teasing. I'd do exactly what Jerkstore said.

I was vague in the "check it later" part.

Aimbots are pretty easy to see. The crosshair will move directly to targets. Most are interpolated so it will be smoothed out, but it is a movement that nobody would ever make with their mouse in a game.

Wallhacks are a bit tougher to spot. If they're not shooting every target behind each wall, then you need to look at their mannerisms. For example, when there is a dangerous unspawned target behind a wall, let's say a boomer, they will keep the ghost boomer on their screen to check on it. Their crosshairs might not be fixed on it all the time, but it will stay on screen. If they look away, it will be only briefly because they want to keep check on it. And when it spawns the hacker will be fixed on it and shoot either immediately or when it is "visible", so as not to appear to be wallhacking.

This game desperately needs Source TV because there's currently very little way for other teams to spectate and keep tabs on whether anyone is hacking. Infected teams can only have 20 seconds to check it out.

Aimbots can have arcs, the best ones will actually randomly select patterns around and through the model.
On even the most primitive of hacks years ago these options were available.

There is also a method where the crosshairs will drift twords a players interpreted hitboxes or model, only if the crosshairs are touching it while shooting. Minimizing the margin of error with shot placement, and allowing the user to control the path of the crosshairs.

Best advice I would give you is to ask yourself some basic questions while reviewing gameplay like

Does the person consistently know where his primary targets are at all times?
-Have any of the targets been abnormally silent/non-visable?

Do they have a habit of only using their items only to have them immediately replenished by something a couple rooms away?
-Did it take them a reasonable time to find it? What was their pathing like?

How many times have you played these people and how many times has it happend?

If your really looking to be able to spot cheats whenever you need to I would go find the major public cheats and learn how they work. Im not saying go load them up or anything, but just learn how shit works on their end and just look for the obvious signs of the use of 3rd party software. Learn of all the different kinds of features and try to spot them in action.

I notice some players have no mouse movement at all. Its like the locked their xhairs at head height and just shoot. There is no arc movement at all. Perhaps a console command for this? Wasn't this popular in Counter strike or something? (nvr played it)

it's pretty much impossible to know with any real certainty if you're getting cheated in this game based solely off your observations in game unless you have extensive AC experience. At least once a week we play a scrim where most of us are pretty sure we know one of them is cheating, but not really anything you're going to do about it. There are a lot more cheaters out there than you think, unfortunately just have to deal with it until we get a real league that can start taking care of them. It's always fun to see someone rape on survivors then completely fail their team on infected.
