Hello Left 4 Dead community,

E-rev had just received some news that Valve plans to allow spectator slots in L4D. There have been some server companies that are selling 12 slot servers so the implementation of this perk is nearing.

With that said, E-rev would like to start the process of gathering writers, casters, and video casters for the Left 4 Dead scene. If you think you have what it takes to fill any of these positions, please xfire Fluke or myself. Simply replying to this thread is not good enough. We are looking for motivated people who really want to contribute something to the community.

What about sourcetv.... :/ why not 9-slot servers for that purpose. Thieves

I\'m not really sure, you would have to ask Valve about it.

Ya know thats true. If you have spectators in the servers themselves, its very easy to be on vent w/ one of the teams and give them advice (cheat). but SourceTV actaully has a 5-7 minute lag, preventing such things.

i doubt its very easy to shoutcast a match and ghost for that team as well.

You idiots think e-rev is going to cheat for one of the teams...? no league would ever let them cast. get real plz

Our feed lags behind the action by about a minute or two. Problem solved.

And I know this because I can do shoutouts finish them. Then turn the volume up on the feed and hear myself doing shoutouts.

And we let the teams play fair. We have no stake in the outcome of the match. So why would we cheat.
