I really think you guys running this site should consider adding a list of the recently created/updated forum threads on the communityfortress.com page, something like they have over at GotFrag (http://www.gotfrag.com/tf2/).
For this site to take off and become more popular than it is, the sense of community and belonging have to be there. At the moment the front page for 99% of people is read-only activities: there are sidebars for Twitter and the Wiki, but very few people will participate in Tweeting or care about what Wiki articles were last updated.
Thinks happen fairly rarely in TF2, so without posting filler there are not many articles you can post each week. At the moment there is no incentive to visit your frontpage, as for long stretches of time it does not change at all.
I am sure that most of visits to GotFrag TF2 are for the forum/community bit, not to look for articles. The wiki and the articles is a great part of CommunityFortress and I hope it can start something in the spirit of what Jaeger has done with his videos and mumble communications, but at the moment the front page just looks dead.
Hopefully the forums become more active too, if they are not tucked away in a small world of its own.
