Game has no serious league support, therefore little to no influx of new/up and coming teams. Until people are given a reason to play, meaning some potential for e-fame at a minimum, it's going to be a slow bleed as people eventually get bored and move on. Having bloated rosters of 8+ active people doesn't really help things either but, to each his own :)

Well lotta people were staying on board for the hopes of CAL returning & CEVO taking off. At the current time though the IC is pretty much keeping the competitive community alive. Who doesn't want E-Fame though? Look at people like..fata1ity, Moon[just signed a 480,000$ contract making him the highest paid e-sports player in history], & Grubby. Granted they are different games but those kids have there life set on playing video games. Have you seen the WCG survivor shit? It's a joke.

A bunch of teams in South Korea get paid crazy amounts for progaming but it's a different culture over there. I don't think the western world will ever see progaming take off the way it did there and to a lesser degree, in Japan.
