So, I'm gonna try making a team and see what happens.
I will provide a server to play/practice on as well as a vent. The server is west, but can be moved central to accommodate. I'd prefer players 18+, but if you are mature I don't really care. I also need players that play late night. I don't usually get on until around 9:30pm mst, and my friend doesn't get on until even later. If you're a normal 9-5 person who sleeps at night this probably won't work for you. I can play during the day on wed/thurs, but usually just 1 scrim. Late nights are my major play times.
I'd like to find a skilled caller, but if not I will do the job. I don't like doing it, but I am capable. I am looking for players who can listen and already understand competitive L4D for the most part. If you've never done a scrim this is probably not for you.
The biggest thing is you must be willing to lose. If you have an ego bigger than mine this probably won't work for you. As much as I hate losing, we will have to accept the fact that we will lose many, many scrims before we get anywhere. Top teams didn't start out on top. The way to become a top team is to play the top teams, which means losing, A LOT. If you can't handle losing and looking like noobs then this won't work for you. I don't care how good you are individually, playing as a team is much more difficult and takes time.
I am willing to join tournaments now for the practice, but honestly this would be more of a "get decent together for l4d2" type of thing. I will want to scrim as much as possible though.
Team name will most likely be Fortis.
If you're interested in this PM me here, msg me on irc (skrave) or add me to steam (skrave). Thanks for reading.
