for a tf2 machinima. does anyone know who to talk to about that stuff or is it a "grab a few friends and do it on your own' kind of thing?

I have never heard of a central authority for tf2 machinima.
there's machinima.com, but I'm not sure if they have a tf2 section.

Probably depends on what it is. Machinima.com has put out TF2 videos in the past, but I have no idea past that.

I assume this is more then a frag vid? You may head over to pldx.com and see if there is anyone that can point you to the authorities.

I was wondering if people would do this, but decided it would be best to wait for Source FilmMaker, which will probably come out "soon" in Valve time. So around the same time as HL2 Episode 3, a proper optimization for TF2, the end of all the "meet the team" videos, and the next ice age.

Absolutely not. Just enjoy some of the PLDX movies. :-)

I think I'll wait for the second coming.. I still think the odds favor that..
