Hey guys, this is Wolfy. I took the time to create this page (http://wiki.commforums.com/doku.php?id=tf2:competitive%20scene:how_you_can_he lp) that lists all of the pages that need pretty serious work in the wiki. I just don't have the time and expertise to write every single one, so I'm asking all of you to give me a hand. You don't have to go in alone and do every single one. It'd be greatly appreciated even if you just put a couple generic sentences in. Anything is good. If everybody pitches in and writes, this wiki will be full of great information in no time. I'll try to keep this page updated and cycle in and out pages that need work. Thanks, and happy writing!

Some of that interp posts (greek to me) around here should have a page!! ;)

Interp can be added. A general configs page would probably be good. I'll get on that.

Bump.
Don't assume someone else is going to do it! There has been a grand total of two edits since I posted this (many thanks shdw.puppet and Kyrnos). It's a pretty simple thing to do, and a great way to help the community grow.
This sounds stupid, but where's the edit button? I have a rough draft of Gravel Pit strategies. Then I'm probably going to do Granary and Well

Once you've logged in (with the same account that you use on the site and the forums), you can edit a page in the upper left. There is a button that says edit this page.

What graham said. Thanks, by the way, cco for that write up. Also thanks to Lucas and Zigster for writing the Custom Huds page
*edit Note at the top, I've started a "List of Many Thanks." It's basically a list of those who have helped out with the wiki. If the list gets long enough, expect to see it on the front page, where you will be immortalized forever in the hearts of those... who read it.
If I missed anybody, give a shoutout here.

I'll see if I can write up some of the map strategy parts.
It's been a long time since I've done much wiki work, though, so you'll probably have to go through and format it for me because I'll probably be too lazy to make it look pretty :P

I'm good at formatting in the wiki, I didn't spend three hours re-organizing everything and not get the hang of it :3
slin, uh, ask graham, I don't have robin on my friends list :P

it'll take a long time to get a wiki hat. there's a list of requirements/criteria and it's pretty hefty(something about having at least 400 edits). not that you should be doing this for a hat, lol.

no yeah hypothetically people won't be doing it for hats, but i was just asking because i thought only the official tf2 wiki was sponsoring hats

Yes, you can only get wiki hats from the official wiki. It was brought up at one point, but graham and I decided it was best to wait until the wiki is more full and functioning before bugging valve about it.

I was wondering what the status of the commfort wiki was. I know when you posted asking for help on gotfrag a while back, it seemed like you were going to try to merge the commfort wik and the official wiki, either automatically or by having people use the commfort wiki as inspiration for adding to the official wiki. I just wanted to know if you were doing this and how, because I don't really want to spend time working on the commfort wiki if someone is just going to transfer my work over to the official wiki and take the credit for it. Thanks.

As of right now, there are no plans to merge with the Official TF2 Wiki. We would like to keep the integrity of having our wiki solely run by competitive players. We will also no longer be bothering to go to Gotfrag for help, the place is turning into a shitstorm in my personal opinion. Look for a news post soon to try and get things rolling again, the original goal of having the CommFt Wiki be the #1 place for all players to go to learn information on the strategies and concepts behind Competitive TF2 is still alive.
