I'm a casual player who decided it was time to bring his game up a little bit. I heard this palce was a nice community to learn about the game and find decent people (who don't rage) to play with so I decided to join and I hope we'll get to play together.

The mouse makes a big difference trust me. I used to play with a regular wireless mouse and let me tell you my accuracy was very different. Good gear does not make or break a player but it doesn't hurt to have a mouse that is a little bit more responsive.

My previous mouse (lol $30 wal-mart-style logitech off-brand) was great... until I discovered gaming mice. Death Adder is very responsive and controlled, imo. Best mouse I've ever owned by far.

Also, I played in CEVO with my crappy wal-mart mouse.

Death adder is a decent mouse. Stay away from Lachesis & imperiator. Shitty firmware atm and there is alot of problems with them. Just returned my lachesis and got me the g9x. after using the diamondback for 7 years. You should of went with the logitech g35 headset though over steel series and the destructor pad isnt worth the 50$ hell the 35$ vespula i have wasnt worth the 35$. Got the same keyboard as you though good choice :D

I know steelseries make so-so product :( but there was nothing else available at the moment at the local pc store (beleive it or not). I was a bit dissapointed with the mat and keyboard to be honest. The mat doesn't really make things more accurate or faster, the only advantage of the destructor mat is the fact that it doesn't slide around when you play. They keyboard gave me a problem because you can't highlight selected keys (unless I don't know how to do it) you can have all of em lit up or the WASD...what if I want WASD + a couple of other keys :(.

Does this community have a steam group/ventrillo chat/etc to get players together i would really love to play with you guys.
