Hey all,

Just wanted to show a clip that I've been working on: EG Vs C3H8 (http://www.wegame.com/watch/ESEA-Playoffs-EG-vs-C3H8/) That didn't take me long to put together, but I wanted to see what people's thoughts were on the style of vid and the camera work.

Potentially I can use this style to record a whole match, or just the key rounds + moments.

I recorded at a 60 framerate, and could go higher, but I start to have synch problems. I've been trying to figure out all my kinks and the best way to put my videos together, which is why this is all I have at the moment. Well, except for these Older (http://www.wegame.com/watch/EG_vs_Loaded_CP_Waste_Rnd3/)videos (http://www.wegame.com/watch/EG_vs_Loaded_CP_Waste_Rnd4/), but my technique has progressed since then.

Shout out to Kuiper for his Steam forum posts about vid editing.

i thought it was a bit disorienting due to the jerkiness of the movement. using the demo smoother would create a much nicer effect, but it'd be more effort.

i still think i'd prefer the style of just following the most influential player at that moment in the match, but i can't say for certain.

I have to agree with the necessity of smoother camera work, but I'm far too tired to provide any constructive feedback other than that at the moment.

I kicked my recording framerate up to 90, lowered a couple display settings to ensure my PC can hit the #s, added in-game motion blur, added motion blur on top of it through V-Dub and things are looking a little smoother.

I'm still getting some audio de-synching in playback after my initial compress w/V-Dub. It seems like my video is dropping frames or something, and the sync gets off as the playback continues. If I move the slider to the middle of the movie, the sync comes back. Anyone know the way to deal with this? If I move it into an editing program and kick it back out will that time it up? Or is this a problem based off of my .avi recording style vs. .tga?
