1) Your alias (on irc and steam community) and Steam Community page
I go by icbat on Steam and IRC.
http://steamcommunity.com/id/icbat
2) Age
I'm 21.
3) The class you wish to be mentored on
I'd mainly like to learn about the Scout, although help with the Sniper, Pyro, and other useful support roles is certainly welcome.
4) Special request (for example, asking for a specific mentor)
None.
5) Your experience with competitive TF2
None at the time of writing. I have no idea how to really get in to the Comp TF2 scene. I did play CS:S CAL-O and made playoffs with HL2DM in CAL.
6) 3 things you would like your mentor to help you improve on (The higher the skill level you are the more specific these should be, such as for low people "flanking", low/mid "when to flank", mid/low "why to flank", mid "how is flanking incorporated in pushing", or something like this)
General knowledge of the scene and how I can get into it.
Scout tactics in competitive games that are hard to learn from demos (decision making, knowing where your team is, when to stick with the other scout, etc.)
More specifically, when to flank versus when to protect teammates.
7) Available times (be specific, include days and times)
Weekdays after 6pm Central until midnight.
Anytime on weekends.
Wednesday - Friday I'm usually busy but can almost always make time if necessary.
8) Status (If you are still seeking a mentor type "seeking", if you are not interested in being mentored no longer type "not interested", if you have a mentor please type "Being mentored by "(insert mentor's name)", if you have been mentored and are no longer wanting to be mentored type "done, thank you (insert mentor/mentors name/s)"
Seeking as of 6 July 2010.
The best way to contact me is via Steam. Thanks for taking the time to look all of this over.
