Maybe, you could have something like gotfrag? has where you can do + or - to people, and if someone gets enough - points it will take away there post, or something. And the more + obviously will just give you points.

Have like counter next to the + or - sign so you can see if people are hating on the thing and what not.

Rather than giving/subtracting points, just have it to where if someone gets enough -'s, it hides/deletes their post. Kinda helps against unwitty trolls like Byung.

Yeah, maybe at first people will go crazy and spam the - button, but soon people will get over it. - doesn't take points away, and maybe after like 20 people - someone it will take it away.

What I've seen of Gotfrag is a clusterfuck where superstars get +'d regardless of what they say and black sheep get -'d regardless of what they say.

However, doing something with the reputation system would definitely be good. We're open to suggestions.
