I came here in hopes of simply finding some Xbox Live L4D players that would like to just hang around and form a party. Unfortunately our "Introduce Yourself" section is not troll-free, so you're probably going to catch flak for playing Xbox.

If we get enough Xbox players we'll probably make them a subsection of the forums. As is, you're like one of a couple people that have asked, so don't count on it at the moment.

L4D could run on my grandmother's computer, so don't underestimate the power of horrible graphics and artificially high ping.

I hope you are not referring to the PlayStation 3 as a "real system". If so, that on its own is enough to have this topic closed, printed out, and the copy burned. Now if you are referring to the PC than I agree, but as I said in my first post, I do not have the funds required for a decent gaming rig so I must make do with what I have. As far as I know my rig is not enough to run L4D at a decent speed, but for the sake of topic, here are my specs.

Neither the 360 or the PS3 are real systems, and that is enough to have this thread "copy burned".

While you probably can't run L4D with 329402934932x antialiasing, you should be able to run it in a playable state just fine if you can do HL2DM and CSS.

One of our players runs it on about the same thing. You should be able to play it on lowest settings (Say good bye to the air vents on buildings in Death Toll!)

Graphics: 128 MB, Shader model 2.0, ATI 9600, NVidia 6600 or better

is the minimum requirement. I would say though that you could spend 50 dollars and have a 10 times better card then that and be good to go. You wouldnt have anything top of the line or even up to date with todays graphics, but you would be able to play games at least.

My card is not an issue, it is shader 2.0 with 250 megs. Yes it is a little dated, but it should still run it.
