Hi Jay,

Your best option at your current stage is to self mentor. In other words, play more and work out the kinks on your own. Part of learning how to play TF2 (like any other game) is just playing a lot and finding your own strengths and weaknesses. I suggest you continue to lobby and get a lot of them under your belt. The more experience you have playing the better.

Is there any particular map that you are having difficulties with? Any specific situations that you are finding to be difficult? "I need help in battle and flanking" is not very specific at all.

Im having trouble when the battle becomes Scout vs Scout or Scout vs Demo.

Ah see this is simply showing a lack of experience and/or practice. Difficult for a mentor to teach you exactly what to do for this; you sort of need to learn it on your own. For scout vs. scout it's all about making your shots while maintaining good movement. For demoman, you need to get up close and personal while avoiding his stickies. If he switches to pipes then try to rotate around him or throw in a jump over his head to mess him up.

Like I said before I think you don't have enough playtime under your belt to justify a mentor. That being said, keep playing and come back when you have played scout for a longer period of time (~50-75 lobbies at least).

P.S. next time post a link to your steam profile.
