My team PfB has a rather large roster, and last week we made the decision to split the team up under me and the other captain (Xanath). Since I had been away for the preceding week getting settled in for school this semester he had taken over leadership duties running scrims and matches (We are keeping the main roster for the Infected Cup though). Naturally he wanted the players he was playing with, which is fine by me, I understand how important team cohesion is in a game like L4D. This left me needing to either fill anywhere between 1-3 spots, or look into the possibility of joining an established team. Currently we are the #1 team over at UGC with a 5-0 record ( http://www.ugcleague.com/rankings_l4d.cfm ). UGC\'s competition is rather lackluster, so that accomplishment isn\'t something really to brag about.

I am a fairly accomplished FPS player of the past. I stupidly retired from FPS play and played WoW instead (waste of my free time for god knows how long). When I did play FPS competitively I always found myself playing in the highest levels of competition. With LAN experience, as well as multiple CAL-invite season in CS I\'d like to believe I have what it takes to perform at the highest level.

Some teams of the past:
[NHG] (eventually became X3 when bullseye, ksharp, blazin guns, chameleon, NSi, BigDog, and Bad-influence merged from CK3 and NHG)
[CK3]
[aow] (couple notable LAN appereances including a 2nd place finish behind [rdw] in a bigger non CPL based TX lan)
[CAU] (CAL-invite season 1)
SteelBreeze (CAL-invite s7-s8, as well as a couple average CPL appearances)

doctors - played with them as a backup in RTCW, couldn\'t commit time to be a full time player. Have always been good friends with george/wiseguy.

What I am looking for:

Team players - check your egos at the door, I do not need superstars who are only out for themselves. L4D is huge on teamplay, individuals do not win games in L4d, good team cohesion does.

Experience/Skill - Any sort of previous experience on top teams in other games is a huge plus. Please have some demos for me to look at of you playing L4D if you want me to consider you. Demos are far better for evaluating a players skill in many instances, since I can solely focus on their play style as opposed to having to pay attention to what they are doing in a scrim or a match when I have my own responsibilities.

Flexible schedule - You need to be able to scrim at least 2 days a week, and have free tuesday nights for CAL. I don\'t usually like to scrim weekend nights since I\'d rather go out and drink instead.

Loyalty - I will always be loyal and honest to the people I play with, you need to show that same respect.

If you are interested in the way I generally think, head over to http://left4dead.gameriot.com/ and read some of my articles (I write under Craptor), it is a real easy way to see the kind of things I like to do/think about in game.

On top of this I am also willing to consider the possibility of joining an established team.

My only issues with this are:
1) I am hyper competitive, if your team doesn\'t have intentions of trying to be th best L4D team there is, I\'m not interested. That drive and passion needs to be there, and complacency is not acceptable nor is the desire to succumb to mediocrity
2) It might be hard for me to transition out of a leadership role in-game and out. I\'ve become used to calling strats and making leadership calls, and I\'m not sure how well I could switch to a normal player role. I have no problem letting others lead, but I\'m going to most likely want to give my input on strategies, and for some types of leader that type of personality will not mesh well.

I also come along with a couple perks. I have a vent server, as well as an L4D server (PfB vent + gameriot L4D server.

Wise/George were pretty much amazing at every game they played. HLDM, CS, rtcw, cod4, TF2. George stopped playing when he started working for the CPL though for a while.
