I must admit I have NO experience with the competitive scene, and I'm gleaning all the lingo from other posts on the forum. I practice regularly as a Soldier, with others in Ammomods an by myself in jump maps and training centers like Walkway. While I prefer Roaming, I try to Pocket enough to be adequate in sudden situations. Despite the time I devote to Soldier I'm going to say I'm probably Low due to my team play inexperience. I have a decent 200 hours logged but I've never been on a scrim, I prefer smaller games when I PUG or play with friends, but I'm more often than not pulled into large 32 player confusion fests due to my social net.

I'm looking for a team that'll except me considering these things and give me a place to excel further. Know also that I'll devote all I can to doing my best. Goddamnit.

Hi Itty Bitty Kitty,

Based on your experience alone, I don't think a lot of team would look at you currently since the seasons are just getting underway and not a lot of time to devout to developing talent right now. However, I would highly recommend making a post in the Mentor section and see if someone can help you out a bit, answer questions. Then try Lobbies out at tf2lobby.com to get a solid group of 6v6 games with a general concept of the 6v6 format.

Honestly, some of the things wrote in the past, I would steer clear from and work with experience mentors or you may simply get overloaded with information. It's good info, but you want a solid frame of reference first or it gets rather daunting and hard to digest.

Thanks a lot, Hawkeye! Good to know the lay of the land, didn't know what was going on in the scene right now. I made a thread in the Mentor section, and looks like I secured something for tonight! :D Exciiiting. I also made an account at TF2Lobby, didn't know such a thing was around! Thanks again fer the infos.
