This is Rottenbeard, currently thrill's one and only mentee. I knew the basics of medic before I got in touch with thrill around a month ago, and since then he's helped me step my game up immensely. He really goes into what you as a medic need to keep in mind and improve on to become more skilled. His soft, silky voice is easy on the ears and keeps you engaged as he describes tactics, tips, tricks, and general strategy that you may never have even thought about.
I feel I know my role as a medic better than I ever did before. Thrill doesn't teach one strict style of play, but gives options and recommendations in certain situations that will most benefit your team. His game sense seemingly bleeds through mumble straight into your head after going over maps, over demos (whether your own games, invite level play, his own demos, or anything in between), and just through talking.
He does most of the work, you just have to put the knowledge into use and really practice what he tells you. And he's just a good guy to talk to, about tf2 or not. Really encouraging and nice. You won't regret talking to him, even if you end up not getting into a mentorship with him.
Do you mind if the medic mentee isn't that active on a team?

Doesn't matter to me. As long as your intentions of me helping you and you getting better will result with you joining a team, I will do my best to help.
Okay, I added you. KOS Flakattack.
