It would be lovely. it currently doesn't take too long for it to load on my iPhone but a mobile version of the blog/leaguecoverage/news stuff would be really nice.

Fuck it, I've NEVER wanted an iphone, BUT if that app existed, I'd buy one.

If Valve just made the Steam chat work through XMPP then we could easily make it work with mobile and other IM programs.

What would you want to see in a steam app? Chat? If you wanted to chat with your friends wouldn't you already be doing so? Since a phone's core function is chat, what would make steam more appealing/unique than any other chat service?

A steam App would have to include your friends list, what games they are playing, the ability to purchase games from the phone, the ability to check download and update status on any computer connected to the same steam account, and the steam news feed with all upcoming deals ect. It would also be great if we could buy games like plants vs zombies or bejeweled that are available on both steam and phones, and have them available on both devices.

I've wanted a steam app forever, it would be awesome to be able to steam chat with people on my iPhone. I don't really care too much about the other features.

Consider installing TapaTalk for the vB forums. The free and paid version app of Tapatalk are both excellent. I have a droid and its bliss. ;)
