Yes sir I did! If you want a full history of my league experience then you should buy my book.
I was in the tryout process of searching for a Cevo-P team before personal life got in the way and forced me to quit. I was quite the amazing shot and had the eye of a few of the top teams at the time. :( Oh well... there is always L4D!
RTCW/ET was where it was at though.

I was a console gamer for awhile when i was growing up. Atari, nintendo, sega, nintendo 64 (never did PS, i think i just didnt care). Anyway, i really didnt get into pc until battlezone (the RTS/FPS game, the badass one). I had played starcraft and warcraft at a buddies house but really didnt care much for them. After battlezone, 1997 hit, and my dad brought home a pirated version of a game called Half-Life (ever heard of it). His buddy had given it to him at work, so i decided to give it a try.
ahem, i think we know where the story goes there.
HL = Best FPS created which led me to TFC which led me to CS which led me to DOD, which led me to HL2 which led me to the franchise of other games and other toys.
Which ineviatably led me to L4D.
Side note = I was one of the first people to download and install the first ever Steam (back when it was just a crappy auto-updater). I never thought it would turn out the way it did.

I was 8 years old when I first started playing computer games and I'll list the games I've played at a high level:
FPS -
Quake2
Quake3
CS 1.6
COD 1
Doom3
MMORPG -
Everquest
DaoC
WOW
Basically I've been playing FPS computer games for about 16 years.

DaoC was probably the best MMORPG I have ever played in my life.. PVP wise of course.. then /level came out and ruined the game..

Amen.
I started gaming online due to a christmas present when I was 11, here's my history:
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
Tribes 1
Starcraft
Diablo 2
Tribes 2
America's Army
World of Warcraft
There are several others I dabbled in, but those are the only ones I played seriously.

Sparknotes for the video?
Narrator thinks he made a deep revelation that has escaped Sony/MS - catering to the younger generation is more important than following around one generation as it ages. Goes on to rant about non related subject to try to prove point. Offers some vague predictions on the future of videogames.
End.

Oh I see what Booduh did here. Unfortunately, it's backfired in his face.
Albeit, I watched the video and agree that he has some fine points. However, there are still many pc titles aimed at a child audience...just not in the fps division, and nor should there be, in my opinion.

When was PC Gaming ever mainly focused on Children? The mascot's of the field are ass kicking, shotgun shooting, chain smoking son's o' bitches.
It could happen, but then we'd just have more PC Gamers.
