I had an idea to create a basic playbook for all the most popular maps that can be linked to newer teams. Would anyone here be interested in helping create this playbook? Suggestions would be great.
I hope to make it into 3 formats, HTML, PDF and ODT.
The idea being to create a way for newer teams to learn basic strategies for each map and from there learning how to change things to work for their team.

Perhaps most of this info can be displayed on the CommFT Wiki http://wiki.commforums.com/doku.php?id=tf2:home .

Well yeah the HTML version would be housed here. :) But a downloadable is always nice.

I do not think newer teams should be focusing on their roamer and scout coordinating an offensive push over on crates while the demo pockets with the other scout. Point is, learn to play the game and how it works first. If you throw too much advanced crap at newer teams is might not help as you think it will, however props for a good idea.
Hint, go watch demos of TSW.YSW

The Wiki would be plenty, that combined with Wands strat videos and the simple vocabulary vids should be plenty for any new team. The core of what most teams (including mine) need is getting the medic/sollys and demo/scouts on the same page, which is not something you really can read through, but play through.

Who said anything about advanced stuff? A basic strategy would help newer teams out a lot. Just aerial views of mid with labeled locations and basic explanations of what each player would be doing would be enough to get them on the right path.

I would personally like wand's vids a lot more with some actual demonstrations (kinda like jaeger's tips and tricks vid with kritz through the door on freight).
Anyhoo, totally not derailing the subject, there are a few basic strat pics out there, but nothing substantial. Maybe just a couple of pictures with helpful arrows, or a video of mid rushed (i.e. house and valley rush on badlands; left side and garage side on granary)
