So I downloaded the eXTV torrent, and its really good. Problem is, I don't really have time to watch them on pc - I'd much rather watch them on my ipod nano 4th generation. However, when I drag the .mp4 files from itunes into the ipod, it says 'was not copied to ipod because it cannot be played ont his ipod'. However, I know that movies can be played on my ipod, because I have some. Also, whenever I select the video, and click advanced
-> create ipod or iphone version, it causes itunes to freeze. Is there any way of doing this, or am I beating a dead horse?

Hm, I think it might be due to codec issues. I can investigate a bit... I know the iPod only plays mp4s, but if its not able to read the h264 codec then it won't be able to play it. Create iPod version would prolly take a while, have you tried letting it sit over night? Dunno what sort of quality you'd get from it.

Try downloading magic video converter, I use that to convert the mp4s that don't work and avis to mp4s that do work.
