Agreed.

Not to say that I can't mean and hateful at times but... usually when people have a disease or something of that nature, I tend to watch what I say. It's not as if they could help it. Sure he acts weird, does stupid things, talks as a "wanna be" but he's being himself and who he's growing up to be, you can't blame him. His life wont be normal... But I ask you.. what is normal? Everyone sees normal differently. I'm sure the 1 in 8 million kids that have his disease see themselves as normal just like you and I see ourselves, just in a different perspective.

err, there's my little bit of sympathy.

'Normal' is just a word that people use to make themselves and the group they mostly associate with feel indirectly superior to others not like them.
