Are any of you trying out Windows 7 RC 64-bit? As of right now, my game likes to minimize itself while playing without any hotkeys or such being hit. It seems that either L4D or the current graphics drivers are most likely the problem, and I really wouldn't be surprised if it's L4D itself considering the widely known issues of lockups, sound loops, etc for a lot of pubbers.
huh? i can't wait for july baby

I haven't had a chance to install it yet, I'll probably do it soon but I need to talk to a buddy before I do (thinking about a weird boot config, want to make sure it works before I try it). I'll test it after that.

Just create a new partition on your hard drive (I suggest 15 gigs), install Win 7 to that partition, and then it will automatically update your master boot record so that you can choose which OS you want to boot up in. This is how I currently have it set up along with XP. Overall, I feel Win7 is a lot smoother than both XP and Vista, but XP does have a slight edge with game framerates.

I get some game freezes and crashes but those are things l4d is known for. but overall W7 is the bomb boots up in about 30 seconds or less the thing is though if you can't find drivers use Vista64 drivers for it because it is pretty much the same thing.
None of the hassles like vista the UAC can be turned off and what-not the install is actually fast too about 20-30 mins for me.

Yeah, I've had nothing but praises for Win 7 even from the start with the 15-20 minute install time. L4D is just simply the only game that has been acting up with the OS thus far, which is what leads me to believe it's just the game itself.
