I'm really excited for this tournament but I think the information about it has been a bit lacking, and lately people seem to have forgotten about it or something?

I don't really see that this has been addressed, for one, and it's sort of a big deal, even though you say that there will be nine games played.

Also, a maplist should really be released very soon.

Tell your friends! Let's get some more teams in here.

Well, to clarify, this is a tournament in a semi-seasonal format. Since the tournament is not free (aka, costs $5 per player) I wanted to ensure that everyone got their money's worth. For example, if this had been a double-elimination tournament then a team that was new and inexperienced compared to, say, veteran teams such as Quantic or Mixup, would likely only get to play 2 games and wouldn't get to experience the $5 they paid for.

Some more points of clarification:
-The winners of the tournament will be determined by overall ranking based on wins and cumulative points earned (aka, the thing that CEVO uses to determine standings for a regular season). The team in first place at the end of 9 weeks wins the 1st prize up to $1,000 (one thousand US dollars).

-I really want this to be a fun experience for all so just don't be a dick and we won't have any issues.

-Extensions must be requested at least 24 hours ahead of time. I am only one man and can only do so much at one time but for the love of all that is holy if you have questions or want an extension EMAIL ME.

-Read your match comms. They contain delicious information such as deadlines, my email, your opponent, and the map you're playing.

I'm really excited for this, I hope you all have as much fun as I will.
