Remember, most of the Highlander ladders few players even know about, think of the leagues that I actually had to dig to find out existed.. ESEA/CEVO are easy since most of the coverage is on them, but UGC, STA, TWL, where if you weren't already active there, not much response, but ETF2L with a high publicized event got a ton of responses. I think the issue with Highlander is more a marketing one in general that needs to be overcome, since a league is an awful risk to take if it dies out to fast..

But seriously, it's pretty clear that the NA comp. scene is non-receptive to an HL League. We'll just have to see what UGC rolls out after the new year.

ETF2L has announced (from 2 admins) in a thread that they will offer a HL league. Easy springboard for the NA teams that already are setup there. Just a matter if they stick to it, which can be said for any 6v6 team.

Where there is a demand, there is an answer.

Well, my highlander team for the ETF2L tournament just lost and is eliminated, and almost everyone on the team would like to continue playing, so yeah, if you're doing a tournament, count me in.
