@Post above me: I'm not exactly sure what you're asking but I'll try to answer it to the best of my understanding.
For TF2Lobby, once you make your account and log in you can join or create your own game. The class selections are given to you and once the max number of that class has been chosen it will not be available for another person to pick in that team. E.g. You may only have 2 soldiers per team so if you join blue and there are already two soldiers you can't choose a soldier. The lobby system will connect you to the server once it is all filled up; if you are not in tf2, it will run tf2 and then connect for you. If you do not specify your own server it uses one of Valve's provided servers which may or may not be desirable based on your location. I have never used private servers so I cannot address that part of your question [If that was a part of your question?]. The "Transfer" button transfers the leadership position to another member in the lobby.. so, you click Transfer, then it starts blinking, until you click on a person. That person is the leader. Once the leader leaves, the lobby closes. It will allow you to start once each team has a 6v6. I'm sure you know the standard set up of 2 soldiers, 1 demo, 1 medic, 1 scout, 1 utility and that's usually what you'll see in the lobby games. I hope that helped/answered your question. |

Now I know that need to meet the format requirement, just was not sure is all. Meaning my group would have connected to Specified Server had we gotten the 6th player in on both teams. Thanks for explaining the Transfer button. |

You really should have started a separate thread for this, but whatever.
Here's all you have to do to start a tf2 lobby: 1. After logging in, click "Create Lobby" (Bottom Right) 2. Type in a name for your lobby. If you want to use your own server, change the drop down box to "Specify my own server" and type in the necessary information. Make sure your server is empty or it won't let you create the lobby. Otherwise use "best available server". Specify your mode (6v6) and put in the map name. 3. Your lobby will pop up in the list of other lobbies (you may have to scroll down). Click it to join in, and pick a team. 4. After everyone has joined in and readied up, look in the bottom right (once again, you may have to scroll down). There should be a "Start Match" button once everyone is in and has the ready check box next to their name. Click that and the match will start and auto-connect everyone to the server. PM if you have any more questions. |

tf2lobby = where pros troll noobs, where mid/low and low/mid rages @ noobs, where noobs do not improve because they just got the game and doesnt even know how to shoot or aim a rocket.
tbh tf2lobby does not help incoming noobs, they have to be really a pubstar first then they can actually use that pubstar aim to get better. otherwise its just 5 v 6 in lobby matches which happens alot |

I lobby rarely, I only really join lobbies my friends invite me to. Generally though the lobbies I join are low/mid to high players and just silly fun for all of us. If people realized that lobbies aren't meant to be a super serious thing and had fun with it everyone would enjoy them more.

I really hate quoting people or saying "this" as a post, but you've summed up what I enjoy about lobbies.

Is pug.na still alive at all? |

I just state the obvious and logic towards people who are both stubborn and mentally impaired, who believe they know everything and is unwilling to listen then they mutes me. I'm not a pubstar or a good comp player for having good aim, I play smart. See you in the cevo a finals defiance, if u can make it that is. yes |

Or maybe you just really don't know what you are talking about and you shouldn't talk down to others in lobbies like you are the master of medic. God forsakes somebody calls out a soldier being lit if their medic is still up, amirite?
I'm going to hold you to that, I fully expect your team to get into the cevo-a finals. Are you a starter for them? |

Update: PUG.NA iS DEAD, 25% of TF2Lobbies end up as FAILobbies, and MORE PEOPLE NEED TO PLAY THE COMMFT DM SERVER. That is all.

pug.na isn't dead
[21:46] <PUG-MESSENGER2> 0,01A game is currently being played. 20 minute(s) have elapsed since the last game started. commft should lower the slots to 8 for that dm server |

That server does quite a bit more then simple lobbies. You can run standard games/scrims/pugs on it also :-)

What's with this bullshit clogging up the forums? We don't give a shit what you think of each other or who's team is better.

I think he meant to say more than DM. The server has more to it than DM.

Oh, I see. Well I wasn't saying put the max slots at 8, but when DM is running you can still limit the server to just 8 slots. I know I have been in there and there were 12 people, so 6v6 and that is just too much for DM, IMO of course.

I have to agree. You really can't have fun, or get good practice if every 2 seconds someone spawns behind you.

Honestly, The server once it passes 10 is intended to be voted on to something other then DM, the DM is just meant at the moment as a place holder to get teams in.
If everyone wants DM only, I can swap things around. |

I really really like playing DM, BBall, Ammomod etc, But since I'm from the west coast its REALLY hard to find servers with decent ping (<70). I feel like playing on 100 ping servers actually makes my aim worse.

I find Ammomod insanely retarded, DM is much more realistic and better practice in my opinion. As DM teaches you to not miss, whereas Ammomod teaches you to miss shots then end with a 6 hit juggle.
OH Yeah I'm looking for some GOOD public server IP's. Lobbies are FAIL nowadays and I only find enjoyment from playing in PUBS with good players. |

If you can, force DM to turn off when client #11 connects.
