Just requirements, i dont enjoy playing hon if im losing TBH. Only game that gets me physically angry from dealing with pure stupidity 70% of the time. my cell phone felt my fury the other day from frustration especially when im doing my job 99.9% of the time and we lose because somebody else didn't do theirs.

Download the replay nightmerr, it was an inhouse and the fifth person was fayde. It's bugged so the stats aren't showed. Alot of the other heroes we would of picked got banned instead. It was a fine game. Not really to prove anything, just giving him an idea of my play style since my stats don't really show it.

Fayde is a piece of shit hero. Attack animation blows balls, 3rd spell is worthless, and ult doesn't do nearly enough damage unless you're so stupid farmed. All in all, fayde is worth nothing but her stun & nothing else.

Oh also her stat gains are rubbish. 2.2/2.2/2.0. Fucking horrible. Compared to Dark lady 2.0/3.1/1.9

Played a game with her earlyer, Cleave, armor breaker, phase, geobane, abysal skull, and halfway to mkb. Still got fucking destroyed by a WARBEAST.

Warbeast and Rampage are the two worst heroes in the game atm, goes to show.

Rampage would be good if they fixed his attack animation and made his stun 1 attack not two, and warbeast would be decent if his ult attack animation wind up wasn't terrible and his ult lasted longer.

Talking to deagle eye about changing her all together, my Suggestion in making fayde better is...

First Ability: 0 cast time
2nd Ability: is fine
3rd Ability: Completely removing it, give her Phantom lancers passive chance to make a "shadow copy" of her self that deals 25% damage with 4% mana drain/damage that takes 300% damage and follows the target and only the target spawned upon attack.
4th Ability: Remove the dot while still keeping the slow and the ability to attack while invisible, Level 1: 50% base for 5 attacks, level 2: 100% base for 5 attacks, Level 3: 150% base for 5 attacks.

I thought that went without saying, they tried her though and all they did was shadow people with her ult and try to gank whenever we were going thru river.

that sounds pretty boss. I think she's so weak because of the fact she's got nothing that buffs her auto attack, and her ult literally doesn't scale to late game at all. Instant cast on guillotine would be good too.

I like what they are trying to do they.. make there own heroes instead of trying to port everything directly from DoTA. But yeah fayde is fcking garbage was in a pub just not listening to people talk about how great she is. I think they need to up her dmg on the stun too..


I fit all your requirements except avgCK, which is 80, and my APM is 123.

CK is so low because I'm never the endgame carry that has to farm 200+ CK

The thing that sucks about HoN is that you can't be new. People just rage like teenagers, which I assume makes up 90% of HoN's playerbase. If you're new, and ask a question they just fucking go off on you. So you ask them why they're playing a pub if they don't mind public players and once again, they go the fuck off on you. It's literally the worst community I've ever seen in a video game, which is a shame because it's a decent game despite being a completely unoriginal DOTA ripoff down to the artwork itself.

The weird thing is, the PoS game League of Legends actually has a community that will help you, give you tips, and welcome new players in pub games.

Edit: And Omerta seems to exemplify the exact reason HoN sucks. I didn't even read his posts before making my post, and now that I did, the first few sentences of my post ring even more true. This game will not be a commercial success with a community that rides a parade of dicks.

Frankly, as cocky as this sounds. It's going to be the completely opposite on the grounds alone that the competitive scene alone is 2x bigger then alot of games that has been out for years.

ESL is moving into American divisions upon full release of heroes of newerth.

As for your statment of helping people, When stats are in question and in a team of 5v5 and 1 person not doing their job can ruin a game, and the average game lasting 40-60 minutes. Does wasting 60 minutes of your time seem logical only to lose because 1 person doesnt do their job? you're 16-0 but your 1 team-mate with down syndrome is 0-10 and 5 levels under everyone else?

Especially if his "PSR" is in the same range as yours and he's half assing in the game that you tried hard to get your rating at?

You need to understand, it's not just straight up cockiness, it's frustration of pure stupidity over the pent of years and years of playing a game/style for ages yet people still haven't learned the teeny weeny learning curve. For fucks sakes, there is a tutorial and tips on the front page.

I dont bitch at statistical mistakes, or because you got ganked in our forest by 4 people. I bitch because you're past the river alone, or you're auto attacking creeps, you're buying boots/bottle first, stealing kills/ck from a carry, & general things that should be a one time slap to the back of the head. The only "competitive" part of this game is the strategic value of the game, which in it self gives it..well it's replay value.

I play with alot of "good" players when they want to be, but they are not consistent. They will do that amazing thing that i will cheer them on for then turn around and dive 2 towers to get that tripple kill and give them +3 levels because they got cocky.

It's hard to find a player that can use the "knight" in a game of chess correctly in every game so to speak. When the knight is the most important piece in the game of chess.

Dota/HoN has the absolute smallest learning curve in pretty much any competitive game. Don't believe me? Read this article.

There is countless threads on the main page talking about aggression and hatred. It's a cross country game, people from all languages play with and against one another consistently, which is another thing that aids to my hatred for the general public, why? Because not only is the player terrible(most of the time unless they are pinoy or named chu`) but i cant even yell at them or tell them what to do to fix the problem because they dont speak my language until they decide to speak half way through the game calling the rest of us noobs cus he's 0-5 diving towers.

TL;DR. Don't judge a community unless you've dealt with it for 7-8+ years. Any community that has been around for this long has alot of pent up hate. Only reason why LoL isnt hate, is because the game is terrible and everyone is feeding off each others pain of "why oh why did i buy this piece of shit game?!"

As for my individual cockiness? I my self have taught countless amounts from the L4D community how to play ranging from...Frustrian, Xanath, Surgical, Synergy, Golden, & Deagle eye( WHO IS NOW CURRENTLY MOVING TO CALIFORNIA BECAUSE HE LANDED A FULL TIME JOB WITH S2 GAMES). I'm sure there is more, Regardless, i dont entirely mind new people as long as im under the pretense of not expecting too highly of them, as mean as that sounds.

If you had a team of 4 people for L4D and you knew which player was holding you back wouldn't you cut that player even after countless attempts to help him improve?

I can honestly sit down with any player, if they legitimately came to me asking for tips and help. but if you join games with me, talk shit about how good you are and how much better you are then me then stop trying to impress me and just play to win. Do your job, play your heroes roll. If you pick a hero that is "supposed" to buy wards. fucking do it, if a courier isn't up by at least 30 seconds on the countdown and you have money. Fucking buy the courier. Courier alone wins games. a 200-400 gold item. Wins entire 40-60 minute games.

"but what if the hero in my lane has better starting lane items then me?!" Guaranteed someone from your lane bought wards or courier them selves. If not, congratulations you now have a mobile shopper that can believe it or not bring you a healing pot for the cost of 2 CK. No wai.

Yes, I'd cut a player like that in L4D. But in public games in HoN there's so many fuckbags it's just unreal. If you make one mistake they literally stop playing and start TYPING for like 15 minutes about how they give up because their team mate only has 10 hours into the game and needs to be eliminated from the face of the earth.

Also, competitive success does not spell commercial success. You think CoD4 etc were held up by the competitive community? Not at all, it was held up by the millions of casual console users who bought it and played for a week or so. HoN needs to branch out if it wants to be a game that gets actual funding it will need to be a BIG game.

Or they should just adapt a pay model like League of Legends, which is 100% better at handling the transactions of customers.
