hop into my vent. My team needs 1 last player for the MYM tourny. We need a semi-carry/support/initiator. Need to be reliant & flexible. Scrims start tonight.

That's blacksmith, funny thing about him though is that he can be one of the biggest game changing heroes.
The one thing about me is that i go unorthodox item builds on heroes. You should see my battle magi build. I've won some impossible games as a carry blacksmith.
Also, if you're bored try this build on earthshaker(behemoth) Lothars, riftshards, S&Y.
1 into fissure, 4 into stomp, 1 into passive, 3 into ult, rest into stats.
How to play him: prestomp (for the % damage) go invis, right click someone out of invis (for the huge damage, crit from invis and hope to crit from rift) i've done +1,800 crits it's fucking hilarious.
Real game behe tips: Never get ring first, 1 into fissure at all times put 1 into 2nd ability and 1 into 3rd ability, the rest go into stats as early as possible and farm for your blink Immediately. A bottle is much better then a ring.
I've seen games completely turn around when Axe & behe get blinks, the quicker you get it the better.
Starting items:
If you're a ranged hero, 2 crowns 2 branches, 1 tango
If you're a melee hero, Axe, 3 branches, 2 tangos
Solo middle range: 2 bracelets of your type (agi/intel) as you know there is absolutely no ranged STR heroes (except mali's ult)
Solo middle melee: see the melee item build.
Solo middle Queen of pain: 3 intel bracelets, 1 healing pot 1 mana pot
Solo middle Engi: Only solo if the enemy middle is melee, in that case go stun/turret. Engi counters Blood hunter very very hard.
Solo middle tips: Dont under-estimate the power of a melee soloing middle, i PREFER to solo middle with a melee. Clockwork(pharaoh) sucks unless he's solo middle. Pulling creeps is important, NEVER start with a bottle EVER. A good solo middle will farm a bottle by or under the 2 minute marker and use the first two minute rune to gank for FB. Courier should be flying by under 2-4 minutes.
Heroes that NEED a bottle: Wreched hag, Valk, fayde, madman, behe, Corrupted Dic (if solo middle) Dark lady, soul stealer, pyro, witch slayer, defiler, tort, jere, deadwood, pudge, clockwork, magmus, pebbles, panda, pest.

Never gotten a bottle on hag, and i feel she is my best hero. I usually get 3 talismans/steamboots and rush a sheepstick.

ewww...steam/2-3 intel bracelets/bottle. Rush null stone.
Depending on the enemies heroes, Harkons/armor breaker/sheep/void tail/shivas.
Null stone is the best item in the game for hag, and if you solo middle without bottle that's stupid as hell.
You build hag 4-1-4-1. ASAP. 4 into her dot, 1 into blink 4 into nuke by level 10. First point always into haunt next being blink, then max the nuke before the dot and ult at level 6. At 6 should by 2-1-2-1.
There is other builds too such as battle build. 4-4-0-3. Early stats, armor breaker/harkons and sheep stick. Noob build that people go is 0-4-4 ASAP, which is sooooo bad. Getting a void tal is always good on her so she can dive towers and void so they cant stun at a tower.
Another item protip: Never get thunderclaw on melee heroes, regaurdless of what people say. If your hero is a 1.5 tier carry [ AKA valk, forsaken, corrupted D] Thunder claw is the best way possible to farm, just drop the nuke on you and tank a lane of creeps.
If your team has an AXE(lego) get a charged hammer. A good lego gets blink, barbed armor. the charged hammer procs help ALOT when you drop it on him.
Side note: These are all pubing tips, in no way are these scrim worthy tips. If you want a scrim tip, always rush bkb or sheep stick.

Axe is pretty much the best counter to swiftblade ever, watched a swift crit him self 3 times at 800 dmg to kill him self. My buddy was playing him, it was a 70 min+ game.
Heart, blink, barbed armor, daemonic, plated greaves, riftshards. Farmed as hell swift was just killing him self.

I figured I would check this game out, and let me tell you, it was a bad experience. I had never played DotA and I was plunged into a very competitive game with no idea what I was doing. I pick glacius, which was promptly looked down upon by my team mates. Before I knew it there was a concede match prompt on my screen. I agreed to it, but it seems like there is no training mode. It's know the game or GTFO. And thats just weak.

when you start MW1 and MW2 there is a training mode. I think he means a tutorial, which every game on the planet has to be more accessable to new comers. Whether it be in game, or in the manual.

patch day? yay.
It's a hard game to learn if you have never played DoTA or anything before. It's worth it though, a very fun game

HoN is not just a RTS, its an rpg/rts. An RTS is age of empires, world at war, company of heroes, starcraft2. Where you have control of an army or multiple units. Not just one guy and maybe some pet or adds to control.
Omerta you trying to say HoN is the only good rts out atm? Guess you havent played any of the 3 i mentioned above. Those are all great games and take wayyyy more strategy than one character with 4 moves.
HoN is fun cause its simple to learn, and even more simple to win if you have a team of guys that know WTF they are doing. Im only a month into the game and dont have anyone to play with, but i get what i need to do and how to win. So of course i dont play competively or havent played aganst a "pro" team. But ive seen the tourney videos and see how its done, looks like alot fo fun if you play with freinds.
yes the community is a bunch of faggots, but you cant tell very fast who is a noob, just like in l4d1. And that one person can bring the team down, just like in l4d1. So people tend to get mad fast. I recommend the unranked no stats games, people are not as rude.
anytime you wanna play tho omerta, i will. I plan on buying the game and want some cool guys to play with. I have no problem being support the whole time. I play WS,DS,JER,SUCC, and some others very well, and would do even more better with a good team. I would like to learn how the pros play. You know as well as i do that WS donest take a pro gamer to play, pretty god damn simple once you learn what items to buy.

Balphagor is fucking great, he has a "mini-doom" spell. Everything about the hero is phenomenal. Heals 25 health per corpse. His first ability does 115 damage per second for 3 seconds while regurgitating 6 corpse's (aka healing 25 health per corpse) as long as you're making contact on a target which isnt hard with him slowing 20% per second.
345 damage, 60% slow heals for 150 health. First ability.
2nd ability does 250 magic damage, bounces to targets within 300 radius upon expiration if the target dies it explodes in a 300 radius and applies the spell to everyone did i also say that it silences for 2.5 seconds? (it's like doom)
3rd Ability spawns minions for every 3 corpse's he has and can have 16(5 minions) each minion applies 4% slow per hit with a max of 6 charges.
His ult is a bitch to explain lets just say it's broken, get a blink on this hero with some mana Dependant items and he's a god.
i 4got who from the community i played HoN with the other night. Completely DECIMATED with Lego, think it was ian? Not too sure. Was me, ihate, synergy, him, & his friend.
