Ranking is based on how well you can 'adapt' with a team technically. If you have poor DM, you are going to have a hard time playing aggressive or passive, if you don't know how to position yourselves based on other people then you aren't going to be able to do much with your team, and being in the wrong position will lead to blah blah blah bad shit. my mind is blown because i got silly tonight, but like higher teams revolve around their playmakers/star players. When they want to pick someone up, they pick up a good friend of theirs or someone who blends with their playstyle. So ranking is gonna be a vague thing i think. like low people are new to the game, mid are people who have DM that can pass by, can adapt to playstyles decently, high people either are really smart, really good at DM, or both. Having good DM in this game makes you good already, and then being really smart by itself lets you use quick thinking to 'adapt' and you will generally know what to do. That's why people are alwways ragging on mackey and harbleu, what they do wouldn't necesarily work for other invite teams, they can play differently for sure, its just that people see the two only play that way so they just assume they are bad.

ranking exists although most people tend to base on people's successes such as their devision or how their team does. Both mediocre players and really good players exist in all devisions from open to invite. Other than that personal skill can be based on how many dumb mistakes you make and how "lucky" you are with hitting shots.
