Rules for CTF Maps:

CTF maps, such as ctf_turbine_pro, will have three 15 minute rounds in which teams will attempt to capture the flag of their opponent. In terms of scoring, each round of play on CTF maps are first to 5 captures. Thus if a team gets 5 captures before a round ends, the match progresses to the next round. If neither team gets 5 captures before a round ends, the match still progresses to the next round. The winner of the match is the team with the most captures at the end of three rounds.

If there is a tie at the end of the three rounds , teams should re-exec the config and play until one team has 3 captures. Whoever has 3 captures at the end of the bonus period wins the match.

I had spoken to mustard on steam, Tuesday was fine with us. Now he messaged me that Tuesday isn't fine with them, even though they were the ones who initially suggested it.

I'll have to check with my team again, a lot of us keep different hours or timetables, so it's not always easy to schedule. Tuesday definitely works though.

I thought you said you guys could only do 9:30 on tuesday? our soldier has a match at that time, and I have a match at 10:30, so the "standard timeslot" is just icky

Does wednesday work (9:30)? I'm still checking with my team for that time, but Thursday/Friday do not work for us, or we'll be missing 2 of our main combat classes + emron

I don't think so man, several people on my team have matches that day- they are a lot later than 9:30 but their teams may wanna scrim, I'll ask around to make sure.

have you tried moving your other matches?? Wednesday evening is fine, it just can't be at 11 at night. Perhaps you can have your match moved later/earlier/different day??? You say you're the only one with a match on Wednesday evening, why don't you find a ringer for yourself since iirc you don't play an important combat class/medic?

The only reason I'm saying times don't work is because we wouldn't have our main combat classes playing (soldier/demo/med/etc.), and since it's semis we want them to play.

Also I'm assuming that the admins don't want to wait until next week.

ok looking at it, wednesday may actually be our best day (although still not ideal)

our scout, soldier, pyro, demo, medic, sniper can definitely be there at the very least, our spy and engi have matches that day but the engi's is at 11:30 so having it early like you guys want is actually probably ideal, I just have to talk to our spy and confirm (or we could always get a merc I suppose)

it's not 100% set in stone yet, but wanna lock in for say, wednesday 9:00 est? chicago commft server?

if not, the situation is that our teams have exact opposite availability- we can't do tuesday or wednesday, they can't do thursday, friday, or saturday

Starting friday, we have one of our combat classes going on vacation, and for various other reasons other people are also going to be away on the weekend (including our other main combat class players).

You guys can field ringers for any class so long as they're not invite level. That's the rule that's been used in my previous matches, that each team agreed upon. So if you need one or two ringers to play on Wednesday that's fine with us.

e: judging from above, a scout and heavy ringers would be fine, if that's what you need.
