Since we got three days left to play this it would be nice if you guys could come with a date. So far the majority would prefer to play Saturday at 20:00 CET but this is not final. I guess thats early enough to do whatever you do usually on a Saturday evening.

Took default win over Angry German Kids because we didn't agree with their choice of mercs. The game was delayed by about 25 minutes at minimum which was bad for us because we had stuff to do and expected to play the game earlier. Rescheduling the match for next week was also not a choice for us. Shame.

I have talked with both teams and I have forced an extension to next Wednesday. Both teams will stay in contact with me throughout the scheduling process and we hope to get it played in a mutually agreeable manner by Wednesday. If it isn't, we will go from there.

Unfortunately not really. It is not going to be played tonight and Kona told me a huge part of his team will attend Dreamhack so we probably can't play this weekend either. We are trying everything to find a suitable date.

I did not see that there was a new post. Under no circumstance will we be able to play tomorrow at the time suggested by Kona. VIER are playing their promotion in ETF2L tomorrow. I mentioned that we need to start earlier. Maybe we can play it after the usual times at about 22:30 CEST or so. My team is running out of options. We could offer Wednesday very early aswell but again probably at 19:00 CEST or so since we got the NC Finale that evening.

Oh. I thought you said that you were able to play from 19.00 CEST on every day, nor did I know that part of your team has to play those games.
Because of Dreamhack I've had no time to talk with my entire team about scheduling this game from the last deadline to this point so I still cannot say if we're able to play at 19.00 or not. We might be able to do 19.15 if anything because some of my team only get home at about 19.00. Playing the game at 22:30 CEST is too late for us.

Bash told SoniX they waited till :40 on the server on IRC. Steam friends messages were not going through and we didn't realise this until about :45. We weren't able to receive or send messages. We joined the server around the same time. We allowed them mercs and I was told those who are participating in the ETF2L match weren't playing today so I expected them to be able to play about 20ish. I was not told how long you were going to wait.
I was not getting any messages about our mercs being refused. If you are talking about yours being refused I meant that we would like to not use mercs as we were able to field our entire team the first time and you weren't.
Clearly we didn't want a disadvantage because of you.



Because of Dreamhack we had a hard time to contact people within this extension of the deadline. We've also managed to get a ETF2L admin to sort the server out for us because we weren't able to get access to admin controls by the way. I don't see how you deserve the default seeing how we've been able to field our players two times for scheduled games. If you had been able to field your players then we would of been able to play and everything would of been fine. You are only in this situation because you weren't able to field your team whereas we were.
In theory, we are up 3-1 in terms of being there. Plus we waited 30 minutes whereas you waited 20. I had no concrete idea of what timeframe you were able to play and I thought you'd be able to play at up to 20:00 ish because you weren't playing with those involved in the ETF2L game.

This will inevitably end in a flame war so I will try to keep it short.
My teammates from VIER told me on short notice they were able to play now if we could start soon. Since this date was forced and I had to talk to people non-stop to get a team together I did not message you about the people from VIER being available but I am neither obliged to do that nor do I believe that you care who is playing for my team as long they are registered players. My team could field nine players (8 regulars members of my team plus a merc which was allowed as can be seen above) for a decent amount of time. When it became obvious that the game, if it even would be played, would start with a huge delay my mates told me they had to leave.

Before that I offered Quad Damage to use mercs which they declined. I also offered to play this game with a reduced amount of players on both sides (8vs8 or 7vs7, whatever) which was declined aswell.

To your statements: We never refused any mercs in fact we were encouraging you to use them since we would have to use one ourselves and we wanted this game to be played no matter what. I also messaged you and gave you the server details and you all know full well that our merc baerbel is an admin in ETF2L who would definitely be able to access the server controls.

The urgency to play this match as soon possible match was known right after the admins decision to reschedule it and the Dreamhack was no unforeseen event. My personal suspicion: I doubt that anybody but NVC was attending Dreamhack anyway and his absence costed us 4 or 5 possible dates.

It might not seem obvious to you, but about half of our team doesn't care about ETF2L anymore. I didn't know baerbel is an admin until that post. This page doesn't clearly state that he is a admin either. Where did I say that you refused our mercs? Something from steam obviously went down and I wasn't able to receive messages nor send messages from or to you regarding the mercs we wanted to use. I wasn't able to get in touch with everyone until today. Plus one of our players is currently about 7 hours behind which made it even harder, but we got her to show up for nothing once again. Even if only NVC was attending Dreamhack, would that change anything? It would still force us to play with a merc which we shouldn't have had to at all. If you had been able to play on the first time we scheduled the game for we wouldn't have needed them.
I like how you've turned this around on us so you're not in the wrong. You attend one game with your team and now you want the default win.

By the way I'm well aware that it will end in a flame war seeing how we were already told to "burn in hell" when we disallowed your prem mercs.
