You are still under the misconception that this first date was definitely scheduled. Because it was on such short notice I stated twice that we will most likely to play not that we would definitely be able to play. I was hoping that things would turn out ok and that mercs would not be such a problem . I can't see how GeaR for marco as heavy changes a lot and the other mercs we proposed were not even close to Prem level.

The majority of your team plays in Tp in Div2. They all know very well who baerbel is. This constant innuendo that you were not treated equally is outrageous. We all had our fair share of difficulties to organise and play this game. We don't like playing with mercs either and we don't like playing on a Saturday evening (atleast the majority) either and I did not enjoy organising this game either.

Admins forced a date. We were there. I suggested whatever I can think of and made every offer to get this played at that date. You did not like my suggestions and we ran out of time.

Thought the admins should know that they've got a hacker in their team.

Keep the claims coming. Since this clearly will never get played, we are making a decision about who gets the FFW later tonight.

I don't understand what you mean about the first game not being fully scheduled. It was you who suggested to play on Saturday in the first place. You can't just loosely say that it might be played. You even said yourself that you don't like playing on a weekend.. It's not like my team are prepared to sacrifice their personal time on the off chance that we will "Probably play on Saturday." It was pretty obvious that we were going to take this as an official date. I have no doubt if we didn't turn up, you guys would've been claiming default from the start!

About disallowing your mercs.. "Mercs or ringers are not allowed unless both teams agree." We just weren't happy with your choice of mercs.. Heavy and sniper are arguably the most important classes in highlander and you were asking for high skilled players to fill those two roles. We knew from the start that it was going to be a challenge to beat you guys and we wanted the fairest chance possible which is why we weren't prepared to use mercs to put ourselves at a disadvantage.

Anyway I don't see how any of this is relevant as they've been playing with a hacker throughout the tournament and have effectively cheated their way to the position they're in now. Using a player with a wall hack clearly puts the team at a huge advantage, allowing them to know where the enemy team is and--- (i'm not going to describe what a wallhack is because you already know) The player caught hacking was also playing sniper with a triggerbot, which again is obvious why they'd be at an advantage.. I'm not stating that his team knew anything about him hacking and i'm sure they didn't but the advantage is still there.

Cheating: The use of any assistance software such as aimbots, wrappers, hooks, hacks, etc. will result in an immediate forfeit for that team and an admin review of the team's eligibility for the remainder of the tournament.

I have heard of baerbel but I did not know he is a admin. There's no exact reason as to why I should, especially given I will probably not play TF2 anymore after this tournament. We haven't got scrims for about a month either.

I've discussed this with Graham.

The match, after a hefty extension, was agreed to play on June 21st at 19.15 (1.15 PM EST). Kona agreed to more or less that match date; bear in mind that this was post-extension. AGK made the server, posted the screen shot, and have made every opportunity to get this match played. Though QD had the right to disallow AGK's choice of mercs, they may not hold off the match indefinitely.

As to the issue of cheating: proof or claims of cheating in another league/tournament does NOT constitute proof of cheating in this tournament. A claim would have to be made by a team that has played AGK, post-match, and demos would have to be reviewed.

I know that QD have played hard and fair in this tournament, and I know that this decision, like every tough admin decision, may sting. For that I'm sorry.

FFW to AGK.
